How long does the Full Moon last?
While the Full Moon has a specific date and time, its powers are said to extend over several days. Thus, its effects were felt two or three days before and two or three days after. While from an astronomical point of view, the Full Moon simply indicates the moment when the entire star is illuminated by the Sun (hence its round and complete shape), for witches and astrology enthusiasts, this lunar phase is the moment when the Moon’s powers are most intensely felt. Hence the fact that rituals and celebrations take place on Full Moon nights.
