For the base:
500g ground meat (beef or a mix of beef and pork)

1 kg potatoes

2 medium onions

2 garlic cloves

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes

200ml beef broth

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon oregano

Salt and black pepper

For the topping:
200g grated cheese (Gruyère or Emmental)

200ml fresh cream

2 eggs

A pinch of nutmeg

Fresh chopped parsley
