Moist Cake

Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F / gas mark 4).

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until the mixture becomes pale and fluffy.

Add the melted butter, then the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

Stir in the candied fruit, raisins, or other add-ins if you’d like.

Pour the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.

Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Check if it’s done by inserting a knife – it should come out clean.

Let it cool before removing from the pan.
