⏱️ Prep time: 10 minutes (+ 2h slow baking)
🛒 Ingredients:
🍎 4 red apples (Gala or Pink Lady)
🥄 1 tsp ground cinnamon
(OPTIONAL) 🥄 1 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
👨🍳 Preparation steps:
🍏 Prepare the apples:
Wash the apples thoroughly. No need to peel them!
Using a mandoline or a sharp knife, slice them into very thin rounds (2–3 mm). Remove seeds if needed.
🌪️ Season:
Place the apple slices in a large bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon (and sugar if desired) and gently toss with your hands to coat evenly.
🧑🍳 Slow baking:
Preheat your oven to 90°C / 195°F (fan setting if possible).
Arrange the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, in a single layer without overlapping.
⏳ Dry in the oven:
Bake for 2 hours, flipping halfway through. The chips should be dry and crispy when they come out of the oven.
