🧺 Ingredients:
For the Pie Crust (makes enough for base + lattice top):
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
6–8 tbsp ice-cold water
For the Apple Filling:
6 apples (peeled, cored, and thinly sliced — Granny Smith is great)
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Top:
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp milk
Coarse sugar for sprinkling (optional)
